The complaint in this action in brief alleged that the defendants entered into a conspiracy to have certain of the plaintiffs’ rags which they had imported declared infectious so that they might be disinfected under a process used by the defendants E. B. Bartlett & Co.; that the rags were taken possession of by the defendants Smith and Bartlett & Co., and were by Bartlett & Co. partially subjected to a pretended process of disinfection, and who refused to deliver the rags to the plaintiffs until their charges were paid, and which the plaintiffs were compelled to.pay to get possession of…
