D. N. Minchew died in February, 1938, leaving surviving him a wife and minor child. His estate consisted of some personal property and a house and lot in the City of Baxley, Georgia, over which there were three outstanding security deeds and against which there had attached city tax, county, and State tax liens, and street-paving assessment liens, for. a number of years.
