The first section of the repealing act, repealed so much of the original act “ as establishes a municipal court, in the said city of Chicago, and all matters connected therewith,” absolutely and unqualifiedly. The language is clear, plain, and explicit, and cannot be misunderstood. And were we to entertain a doubt of the intention to do so, in this act, which was to take immediate, full effect, that doubt would be removed by the intention disclosed in its subsequent provisions.
