These are causes of salvage, and the question presented is the same in each. It is whether the award for salvage services made by a decree entered in the above-entitled actions on August 5, 1920, was so excessive as to require its modification by this court.
It appears that on March 27, 1919, the steamship Niels Nielsen was lying in the New York Harbor at the Bay Ridge anchorage.
