A single justice of this court allowed the defendant’s application for interlocutory review of an order of a judge of the Superior Court which denied the defendant’s motion to suppress numerous items seized in a warrantless search of apartment no. 3 at 104 Bellevue Street, Dorchester. See Mass. R. Crim. P. 15 (b) (2), 378 Mass. 882 (1979). The defendant was indicted for murder and other offenses arising out of the fatal shooting of a Boston police officer during the execution of a “no-knock” search warrant at the apartment on February 17, 1988.
