In this lawsuit, the Court has been asked to resolve a controversial environmental issue centering on Reelfoot Lake and the national wildlife refuge located there. Plaintiffs seek an order from this Court enjoining the defendants, the State of Tennessee and the United States from proceeding further with a very controversial draw-down of water 5.8 feet below normal pool level at Reelfoot Lake.
