Hattie E. Jackson, hereinafter called plaintiff, presented her claim to Lida P. Griffin, as executrix of the last will and testament of William F. Griffin, deceased, hereinafter called defendant, for the allowance of a certain promissory note in the sum of $2,000, dated June 9, 1927, and executed by the deceased. Defendant refused to approve the claim, either in whole or in part, and this suit was brought in 'accordance with the statute. The case was tried to the court sitting without a jury, and judgment rendered in favor of defendant, and the case is now before us for review.
