VAN DUSEN, Circuit Judge

Defendants-appellants contend that the District Court of the Virgin Islands, Division of St. Croix, erred in denying their motion for a new trial. Rejecting this contention, we affirm the district court.

On August 13, 1973, defendants were found guilty of first degree murder, first degree assault, and robbery. The jury which returned the guilty verdicts had deliberated for nine days.
