¶ 1. The state seeks review of the court of appeals' decision in this case dated and filed December 11, 2001. The defendant-appellant, Joeval M. Jones, also has filed a petition for cross-review pursuant to Wis. Stat. § (Rule) 809.62(7) asking this court to review the issue he raises if this court grants the state's petition for review.
