The subject-matter of this action is a 20-payment life insurance policy issued by the New York Life Insurance Company, plaintiff in error, upon the life of George L. Snyder, the husband of Anna E. Snyder, defendant in error, who was named in the policy as beneficiary. Two full annual premiums were paid by the insured upon the policy. The policy matured, 15 months after its issue, by the death of the insured. Proofs of death were duly made, followed by a demand for the payment of the amount due upon the policy.
