POSNER, Circuit Judge.
The issue on this appeal is the reasonableness of an award of attorney’s fees under 15 U.S.C. § 1640(a)(3), a part of the Truth in Lending Act. The appellant, Barash, as trustee of an estate in bankruptcy, sued the appellee, Gale Employees Credit Union, for two violations of the Act, seeking statutory damages of $2,000 under 15 U.S.C. § 1640(a)(2)(A), and won a judgment for that amount in bankruptcy court. The district court reversed with respect to one of the violations, and Barash appealed to this court, which reversed the district court and reinstated the bankruptcy…
