The defendant was convicted on an information charging him with obtaining property by means of false pretenses. His motion for a new trial was overruled, and he appeals to this court.

It appears from the record that on and for a long time prior to the ist day of August, 1929, the defendant was engaged in buying and shipping cattle and hogs from various points in Brookings and Lake counties.
