This is an action on the case, brought by appellee against the city of LaSalle, Isaac Guthman and fourteen other persons, constituting a committee of fifteen who had charge of a Fourth of July celebration in the city of LaSalle in the year 1895, and the Consolidated Fireworks Company of America, to recover damages for an injury to his person sustained by reason of the explosion of certain fireworks at said celebration.
