LeGRAND, Justice.

This is a consolidated appeal from judgment imposed by the trial court following defendant’s conviction of the crimes of kidnapping in the first degree and sexual abuse in the third degree and from an order denying postconviction relief. We affirm defendant’s conviction and sentence for kidnapping, and we affirm the denial of post-conviction relief. We reverse the conviction and sentence on the charge of sexual abuse.
