OPINION OF THE COURT

GILLEY, Judge:

Contrary to his pleas, a special court-martial convicted appellant of wrongful use of marijuana, in violation of Article 112a, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 U.S.C. § 912a (Supp. I 1983). The convening authority approved only so much of the sentence as provides for a bad-conduct discharge, confinement for two months, forfeiture of $447.00 pay per month for one month, and reduction to the grade of Private El.
