The defendant, Carlos Ocasio, appeals from the judgment of conviction, rendered after a jury trial, of assault in the first degree with a firearm in violation of General Statutes § 53a-59 (a) (5), commission of a class A, B or C felony with a firearm in violation of General Statutes §§ 53a-59 (a) (5) and 53-202k, and conspiracy to commit assault in the first degree with a firearm in violation of General Statutes §§ 53a-59 (a) (5) and 53a~48.1 On appeal, the defendant claims that there was insufficient evidence produced at trial to prove his guilt of these crimes beyond a…
