RUDMAN, Justice.

Raymond Currier appeals from a judgment entered in the Superior Court (Hancock County, Mead, J.) following a jury verdict finding him guilty of operating a motor vehicle after the suspension of his license to operate. He challenges the sufficiency of the evidence and the adequacy of the court’s instructions to the jury. Although we conclude the evidence is sufficient to support the jury’s verdict, we agree with Currier that the trial court’s denial of his request that it instruct the jury as to the meaning of “public way” constitutes reversible error.
