OPINION OF THE COURT

GIFFORD, Judge:

Appellant was charged with absence without leave and drunk on duty, in violation of Articles 86 and 112, Uniform Code of Military Justice (10 U.S.C. §§ 886 and 912) [hereinafter UCMJ]. A military judge, sitting as special court-martial convicted appellant, pursuant to his pleas, of absence without leave for more than thirty days and drank on station, in violation of Articles 86 and 134, UCMJ, 10 U.S.C. §§ 886 and 934.
