In May 2005, plaintiff Sean McQuestion applied for disability insurance benefits (“DIB”), claiming inability to work since September 2, 2003, due to chronic obstructive arterial disease and a herniated lum bar disc. (Tr. at 45; 49; 59.) Plaintiff alleged that because of these conditions he could not walk any distance without pain and tingling in his legs, could not lift or carry anything heavy, and could not stand for long periods.
