During the year 1924 certain gentlemen purchased a tract of ninetynine acres of land, situate within the corporate limits of the city of Bristol and described in the record as Highland Park Addition. To make this more available for sale they wished to divide it, or a part of it, into streets, alleys and lots and tp install there certain municipal ccnveniences, such as water-mains', etc. These owners were of the opinion that the city should bear a part of the cost of this, development.
