This is an appeal by the defendants James Manikowski and Bruce Brown from their convictions, under 21 U.S.C. § 841(a)(1) (1976) and 18 U.S.C. § 2 (1976), of aiding and abetting each other to possess with intent to distribute a controlled substance. On January 27, 1981, the defendants were accosted by James Burkhal-ter, an Atlanta police detective, and Paul Markonni, a Drug Enforcement Administration agent, at Hartsfield International Airport in Atlanta, Georgia.
