On April 2, 2002, Dayshawn Brown was charged by bill of information with attempted second degree murder, a violation of La. R.S. 14:27(30.1), and with armed robbery, a violation of La. R.S. 14:64. On April 12th at his arraignment, he entered a plea of not guilty. After a hearing on May 13th the trial court found probable cause to bind the defendant over for trial and denied the motion to suppress the evidence.
