FICKLING, Associate Judge.

This case raises the question of the validity of a waiver of defense clause in a retail installment contract executed and to be performed in the State of Maryland. Summary judgment was granted Ford Motor Credit Company (hereinafter FMCC) from which cross-appeals were filed. We affirm.

In January 1969 Mr. A. Harvey Block purchased a new Ford automobile from a Ford dealer in Baltimore, Maryland. On the day of purchase, Block signed a retail installment contract in the principal amount of $4,077.36, which provided for 36 consecutive monthly installments of $113.26,…
