W. C. Viall Dairy, Inc. v. Providence Journal Co.

This action of trespass on the case for libel was tried to a jury in the superior court and resulted in a verdict for the plaintiff in the sum of $45,000. The defendant’s motion for a new trial was denied. The case is before us on its exceptions to the denial of such motion, to rulings on evidence, and to the charge of the court.
