CULPEPPER, Judge.
This is a companion case to State of Louisiana, Through the Department of Highways v. Whitaker, et al., La.App., 143 So.2d 408, and State of Louisiana, Through the Department of Highways v. Murrell, La.App., 143 So.2d 411, in which separate decisions are being rendered by this court on the same date. These three expropriation suits, filed under the provisions of LSA-R.S. 48:441-460, were consolidated for trial, in view of the proximity of the property involved and the similarity of the evidence presented.
