| ,The plaintiffs appeal the granting of a motion for summary judgment in favor of the defendants, the State of • Louisiana, Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center (collectively “LSU Health Sciences”) and J. Philip Boudreaux, M.D. (“Dr. Boudreaux”), dismissing their medical malpractice claim with prejudice. Af*934ter reviewing the case de novo, we affirm the trial court’s judgment.
