Defendant makes this motion to dismiss pursuant to CPL 170.30 (subd 1, pars [e], [f], [g]) and the due process clauses of the United States and the New York State Constitutions.
The defendant was arraigned on November 19, 1982, whereupon the charges against him were reduced to crimi*366nal possession of stolen property in the third degree and attempted forgery of a vehicle identification number.
