This appeal emanates from a tragic automobile accident that occurred on the evening of March 9, 2003, in Coventry, Rhode Island. 1 Maureen O’Connell and Paul Ro-berti (plaintiffs) challenge the hearing justice’s grant of summary judgment in favor of William Walmsley (Walmsley or defendant).
