This suit originated in the chancery court when the Home Insurance Company of New York filed an action to cancel a policy of insurance issued to appellant, covering property in the town of Gravette, Arkansas.

The defendant, Newt Garmon, answered plaintiff’s complaint and filed a cross-complaint, alleging destruction of property by fire and asking for recovery of the amount of insurance. The. insurance company filed an answer to the cross-complaint.
