OPINION OF THE COURT.

ROBERTS, J.

Appellant was sheriff, of Socorro county for the years 1912 to 1915, inclusive. This action was instituted by him against the board of county commissioners of said county for balance alleged to be due for the salaries of himself and deputies, necessary and authorized expenses of his office, salaries for jailer and guard, cost of feeding prisoners, etc. The amounts due and owing were set forth in the complaint, and it was alleged that accounts for same had been presented to the board of county commissioners as required by the law.
