Respondent was, with another, charged with, and upon his separate trial was convicted of, the offense of employing an instrument, or instruments, name or names and exact nature thereof unknown, and other means, the exact nature of which is unknown, in and upon the body of Zelma Atwood, she being pregnant, etc., etc., with intent to procure a miscarriage, in consequence of which the said Zelma Atwood died, on or about October 21, 1913. The crime is alleged to have been committed on or about October 21,1913, at the township of Blendon, in Ottawa county. A motion for a new trial was denied. The…
