This is an appeal by Jack W. Hinehman (hereinafter “Appellant”) from an April 24, 2002, order of the Circuit Court of Upshur County sentencing the Appellant to two consecutive terms of one to five years each for obtaining money by a worthless check. On appeal, the Appellant contends that he was denied his right to a speedy trial and that trial counsel was ineffective.
