This was an action instituted in the district court of Franklin county by the defendant in error against the pláintiff in error, to recover damages, on account of a breach of promise of marriage. The verdict and judgment were in favor of the plaintiff for $1,250, and defendant now brings the case here for review. The errors alleged are in the giving of one instruction, the refusal of two, a single ruling on the admission of evidence, and that the verdict was contrary to the evidence.
