First Trust Joint Stock Land Bank v. Riddle

In this action to foreclose a real estate mortgage the defendant owner made application for a continuance until March 1, 1937, pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 115 of the Acts of the Forty-sixth General Assembly. Plaintiff resisted the application. From an order granting the continuance plaintiff has appealed. The question presented is whether plaintiff showed such good cause to the contrary that the court erred in granting the application.
