Plaintiff is the widow of J. Charles Chadwick, deceased, and beneficiary of a policy of insurance on his life. She brought this action to recover from defendant the amount of the insurance in the sum of $2,000. The complaint is in the usual form. The answer of the defendant admits the allegations of the complaint, but in substance alleges that the deceased in his application for insurance made certain false and fraudulent statements and answers to questions propounded to him by the medical examiner at the time deceased made his application, and for this reason defendant prays that the action…
