The object of this action is to compel defendant to accept title to a valuable plantation and comply with the terms of a proposed sale thereof.

The averment of plaintiffs’ petition is that on the 21st of April, 1891, they prepared and submitted to the defendant a written proposition for the sale of the tract of land known as the Hope estate, *833more particularly described by legal subdivisions, containing 4628 acres, more or less — including, also, the working cattle and plantation stock, farming implements and standing crops — for and in…
