Transcontinental Insurance Company (Transcontinental), citation defendant, appeals from the trial court’s decision that awarded H. Kent Heller (Heller), plaintiff, $17,028.47 in a citation proceeding under section 2 — 1402 of the Code of Civil Procedure (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1987, ch. 110, par. 2 — 1402). Transcontinental had moved to quash the citation to discover assets or, alternatively, to adjudicate the amount owed.
