The bill, as appears from the foregoing statement of facts, seeks to prevent a threatened destruction by the city of Little Rock of the franchise of the water company, and also to remove, as a cloud upon its title, the resolution of the city of Little Rock declaring the franchise of the water company forfeited, which, it is alleged, was done without any just cause, without notice to the water company, and without due process of law, within the meaning of the provisions of the constitution of the United States.
