February 7, 1966, Daniel Patton Kramer (being then nearly 18 years of age), was charged as a delinquent child in the Juvenile Court for Snohomish County with the homicide of Officer Donald Arndt of the Marysville Police Department on February 5, 1966. Daniel Patton Kramer, after the homicide, fled from his home where the act had been committed, to the residence of his high school counselor.
