I am writing in response to your request for an opinion on several questions regarding A.C.A. § 14-14-1314 (Supp. 2009), which provides in relevant part that "[i]n the performance of his or her official duties, a constable shall" wear a uniform of a specified description (subsection (b)) and drive a vehicle with specified markings (subsection (c)).
