—Appeal by the defendant from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Kings County (Owens, J.), rendered August 17, 1993, convicting him of robbery in the second degree, upon a jury verdict, and imposing sentence.

Ordered that the judgment is affirmed.

There is no merit to the defendant’s contention that the trial court erred in refusing his request to charge robbery in the third degree as a lesser-included offense of robbery in the first degree.
