Appellant was convicted of murder in the first degree, and his punishment fixed at life imprisonment, and from the judgment of conviction he prosecutes this appeal.
The defendant killed one Hartsfield by cutting- him with a knife, and the evidence for the state tended to sustain the conviction, while that offered for the defendant tended to supxiort the plea of justification under the doctrine of self-defense.
