This matter, concerning the custody of a minor child, was filed by the plaintiff, G.N.S., against the child’s mother, S.B.S. The plaintiff contended that the mother abused the child. The trial court found that the defendant has a history of perpetrating family violence on the child and awarded the sole custody of the child to the plaintiff. Under the provisions of the Post Separation Family Violence Relief Act, La.
