This action was for the conversion of a quantity of cigars to which the plaintiff claimed title. The defendant sold them under and by virtue of two executions issued upon judgments against the plaintiff’s husband. The defendant sought to justify such sale on the ground that the property in question was transferred by the plaintiff’s husband to her with an intent to defraud his creditors, and that such transfer was therefore void as to *247-them. The only question litigated on the trial, except the value of the property sold, was the validity of the plaintiff’s title.
