On August 17, 1994, the defendant, Kevin Washington, was charged with eleven counts of armed robbery in violation of La. R.S. 14:64.1 On September 22, 1994, the *1193defendant filed preliminary and suppression motions. The State contended that the defendant was arraigned on that date, but the docket master and minute entry do not reflect that the defendant was arraigned. A motion hearing was held on June 23, 1995.
