The defendant is charged in the instant indictment with the crimes of attempted murder in the first degree (Penal Law §§ 110.00, 125.27 [1] [a] [vi]), conspiracy in the second degree (Penal Law § 105.15) and criminal solicitation in the second degree (Penal Law § 100.10).
