Kelly Neill, the mother of seven-year-old C. B. N., appeals from the trial court’s grant of the legitimation petition filed by the girl’s biological father, Charles Brannon. Neill contends that the court *821erred in failing to expressly rule upon whether Brannon had abandoned his opportunity interest in establishing a parent-child relationship with C. B. N. and whether legitimation was in the child’s best interest. She also argues that there was insufficient evidence to support the court’s judgment.
