Tragically, college freshman Brent Randall was killed on the Texas Southern University (TSU) campus. His death resulted from gunshot wounds inflicted by a nonstudent. Randall's mother, Jacqueline Mouton, individually and on behalf of her son's estate, filed suit against TSU.
