The ¡defendant was convicted of the murder of his wife. Erom the judgment and an order denying a new trial, he appeals.
On the evening of June 9, 1912, defendant went to the home of a neighbor and said that his- wife had shot -herself. Pie took several of the neighbors 'back to his -home, where they found the wife dead in bed. He said that he had been out after the cows and upon his return he had found her thus.
