Pacific Maritime Freight Inc., doing business as Pacific Tugboat Service ("PTS" or "Limitation Plaintiff"), brings this action pursuant to the Limitation of Vessel Owner's Liability Act ("the Limitation Act" or "the Act"), 46 U.S.C. § 30501 et seq. , seeking exoneration from or limitation of liability for claims arising from an August 14, 2016 incident involving the M/V Chief.
